I can only say positive things about the Elijah centre. Debra and her staff are supportive, passionate, patient and knowledgeable. I have seen first-hand how the work at the centre gives children a voice and understanding to their frustrations and anxiety, an understanding of social interactions, a positive mental attitude and most importantly an understanding of themselves and their strengths. They really do amazing work and care very much about every child that they work with.

My eight-year-old son has been going to the Elijah centre for two years. I can't say enough good things about it. My only sadness is that we didn't know about Debora Ellijah sooner. He arrived socially isolated at school, with low self-confidence. Now, he has friends and he's confident! It's been amazing to watch his happiness grow and for him to develop the ability to read social situations more easily. I'm certain the work he does here has been a key factor in this process. The sessions are highly planned, and structured. I like the staff and Debora is warm and really cares for the children and their future. I have found her incredibly knowledgeable and she knows my son 100 times better than any other professional who has worked with him. The centre is a community of children in need of some kind of extra support and with some kind of difference. At the centre they are accepted for who they are and their strengths are encouraged. My son is totally himself there, unlike school where he always trying to fit in. Thank you Debora.

My son aged 5 was presenting with social difficulties and acute anxieties, I was referred by his school to The Elijah Centre. The team are highly skilled and professional and my son made huge progress in the warm and nurturing environment. He willingly attended sessions and found them fun. Dr Elijah is unique and skilled at assessing a child with wisdom and insightful observations. I highly recommend the Elijah Centre.

My first contact with Deborah was 13 years ago, I went as a desperate parent of a 3 year old , I was an experienced mother but did not know what to do. Deborah listened observed and gave me a plan , we followed the plan exactly as she described and the results were amazing . I have Deborah and her team to thank for the amazing results. We continue to see Deborah from time to time and she remains to be a reliable conscientious resource and an honest and trustworthy professional. She is passionate about what she does .

Our grandson began attending the Elijah Cognitive Skills Centre about 6 months ago and the experience has been life changing for him. He had lots of problems communicating and with basic skills. Now his abilities
    have improved considerably.

We can reasonably anticipate that by continuing attending the Centre several times a week he will be able to join a regular school, albeit with a little special teaching, and be a normal happy child. Thank you so much for your dedicated efforts.
