    Ju Jitsu is a fascinating and complete martial art. Having studied a few other styles in the past this is, in my opinion, the most versatile.
    Steve and the other instructors make it a really positive, welcoming - and appropriately tough - training environment. I can't recommend it enough!

    I took a while to decide which martial arts club i was going to join and thankfully i've made the right choice.
    The techniques involved in Jujitsu encompass those from a wide variety of martial arts including blocks, strikes, throws and grappling. I was completely new to this and already i'm hooked. There's no standing in straight lines merely punching thin air as you work together with various partners to perform and learn each technique. This really is a better way to learn martial arts in my opinion.
    Each instructor is extremely patient (thankfully in my case) and passionate about what they do which creates a great atmosphere in the club. I am delighted that i took the chance to join.

    Total Self Defence club has really made a big impacted on me from meeting all the great people there to learning the Jujitsu moves for the belt I am working on and have completed!

    Teachers are amazing and a normal week day class has 2 - 3 black belts showing use how to perfect the moves! which is just great!

    Plus having a kids class I've now got my nephew who is 8 years old to start going to the club and he is loving it! Great to be able to train 4x a week at both clubs which is just amazing to know can get the training!

    Total Self Defence Ltd has changed my life - I was a complete couch potato weighing over 16 stone of blubber without a muscle in sight. Professor Sensei McDade, with lots of patience, enthusiasm and humour has slowly turned me into a mean. lean fighting machine - an amazing feat considering the quality of the original material.

    Seriously, come along and train with us. You have nothing to lose as the first week of training is completely free of charge. Jujitsu will change your life. You will learn a set of devastating street self defence skills, meet a lot of friendly and helpfiul people, and have a lot of fun.
