    Thoroughly recommend The Farmer's Boy for Sunday lunch. The service couldn't have been more friendly. The food arrived promptly but not rushed, the portions were generous and cooked well. We had a wonderful afternoon and would advise anyone looking for lunch in the Hertfordshire countryside to visit this easily acccessible country pub

    Lovely roast dinner, extremely quick service. They were fully booked in the restaurant but kind enough to give us a table in the bar area for 1 hour.

    Great surprise. Lovely food and plenty of it . Well cooked and good quality ingredients. It must be really nice in the summer, but we went at end of November when it was chilly outside but inside was cosy and warm with an equally warm welcome from the staff.

    Great food, lovely village location. I come to eat here regularly and I am never disappointed. The portions are on the large size so make sure your hungry before arriving.
