(October 14, 2018, 6:25 am)Just spent a couple of nights here with my sister's we had an amazing time the food is to die for, the service is second to none and the overall stay was brilliant..
Would definitely come again and have the tentative service from Ernest in the restaurant.
All staff were very friendly and helpful and even though my bed was too soft for me the room and the cleanliness was top notch..
Also if you get a chance have a treatment done with the on-site beautician. -

The furniture in the room needs updating but it is still functional and around the hotel in places it is looking a little tired but for us the main priorities are covered. My main criticism is you can hear people walking around upstairs and the floors creaking

(July 27, 2018, 2:33 pm)Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. I forgot my phone charger and the girl on reception (whose name I should have asked) have me the charger from her own phone! Above and beyond, definitely five stars! We had a very nice meal on Saturday night prawn cocktail, which could have been the main course!! Followed by haddock and chips another very large portion, but we left room for dessert and had the lemon tart, which was lovely.
Part of a Virgin Experience Days Christmas gift including the Spa Valley railway from our daughters. Though in retrospect we should have done the train ride after the night in the hotel!!
