One of the GREAT GREEK HOTDOG companies to come out of Birmingham, AL during the 50s, 60 and 70s.
One of many locations, this one is located in a Shell Service station. They are open early to late. Breakfast sandwiches are led by the Breakfast Special, two egg and cheese sandwiches on bun or toast with or without pickles and mayonnaise. BOGO.
OTHER SANDWICHES AVAILABLE with ham, sausage or bacon. Plate breakfasts come with grits, hashbrowns, toast, etc.
Lunch and dinner feature many kinds of hotdogs in regular or 4 oz sizes, chicken fingers, taco salad and Chili cheese fries.
In addition, the Cooper's Express menu includes chicken livers, fried steak patties, chicken on a stick, pull pork and several veggies. Pretty much just above Roach Coach food. Not bad but not why I come here.
I'm a Sneaky Pete's aholic since my dad introduced me to them the day they started serving when I was a young lad. Dad and I probably ate at Sneaky Pete's together 500 times during the years. I miss dad but am always thankful that this place or one of the other locations was always JUST US.

Got off work hungry and saw sneaky Pete's pull in and enjoyed 5 for$5.
Brought back child hood memories.
Can't wait to come back again.
Staff is always polite.
