Dream Vacations - Karen Coleman-Ostrov & Associates

Karen helped us plan a vacation to Washington DC with our parents, siblings and spouses. This was our first trip to Washington and we were wanting to see a lot of the historical sites with the help from local tour guides. Karen lined everything up for our family. We had a great time visiting everything that we wanted to see. The tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable. We are thankful to Karen for the memories that she helped our family create!

We worked with Karen @ Dream Vacations for the first time for our cruise to Alaska in August. We were extremely happy with the guidance that we received. Karen was professional, thorough and prompt in answering the few questions that we ended up having prior to our sailing. She seemed on top of "the details" which we liked. Our wonderful experience with Karen has led us to book another cruise with her through Dream Vacations.

Karen Coleman-Ostrov made our vacation happen.

She came at the recommendation of family and we brought her on to plan our honeymoon. My now wife and I were wrapping up medical school, planning our wedding, and planning move across the country and had difficulties finding the time to adequately plan our honeymoon. I have always planned trips myself and was a bit reluctant to outsource the job. However, I was blown away by what was offered. For one, we had a budget that we had to adhere to, and Karen did a wonderful job of planning a trip within the budget without sacrificing what was important to us for the trip. She planned a wonderfully romantic trip to Italy on our behalf. In the planning phase, she was very responsive and incorporated feedback very well. She was a master of finding more affordable lodging that still embodied the spirit of the trip. For instance, we stayed at the Almafi coast and she found a very nice and romantic hotel that was just a little off the scene so it wasn't as pricey, but we still got the experience that we were looking for. Additionally, she was available to problem solve real time. Our flight was delayed and we missed our car to the hotel. I just let her know, and she told me that she could take care of getting reimbursed. This took a lot off my mind so I could continue enjoying the trip. Overall, she helped take the stress away from planning the trip during an already stressful time and I could not be more thankful.

Mickie and I want to offer a huge Thank You to Karen Coleman-Ostrov for all her help with our first cruise. This was all new to us and we were not sure cruising was the right vacation for us. Karen listened to our vision and offered various options and packages for us to consider. She answered our questions promptly and set us up with a fantastic itinerary on a beautiful ship. All our expectations were exceeded and we had a wonderful time.

Lauren and Karen did a great job helping with our hurricane cancelations and rebooking. They are my new travel agents. Won’t take a vacation again without their help!
