Beautiful temple. I came in from out of town and got such a warm reception from the workers. Upon leaving, it was dark and that temple glowing in the evening was breath taking

Great visit with my youngest daughter and her family. We learned that the Phoenix and Gilbert Temples share design ideas based on desert Agave plants. The Phoenix Temple has designs inspired by the flower stalk the plant sends skyward, reminding us to look up as well. The Gilbert Temple has designs inspired by the succulent leaves and the impressions they leave on one another. It reminds me of the impression one generation has on both the one succeeding it and that preceding it.

What an amazing oasis in the desert! This temple isnt as big as others, but it is amazing none the less. The grounds where pristine! A wonderful place to come and worship.

Always a fulfilling experience. Whether you just walk the grounds and take in the peace and beauty or go inside to participate it's all a rewarding experience. The location and temple are beautiful!

The facility was just completed, and open to the public for a limited time, before worship began here. The tours were very organized and well done. In an interesting tidbit, it was required to wear shoe covers, during the visit. My brother, who is in a wheelchair, could clearly not benefit from shoe covers. The congregation workers actually cleaned the wheels of his wheelchair very carefully, and had him drive across a sticky pad, to be sure the wheels were clean. it was so respectfully done, it was very touching.
