  Took a late afternoon walk here in January - stunning to watch the sunset over the bay.

  Also locally known as Kite Hill, this is a great mixed-use park. Rolling hills and nice paved footpaths give way to stunning views of the Bay and San Francisco. Great for all ages and dogs. They host the kite festival here every spring/summer which is a great event.

  A great park named after a great opponent of illegal immigration. In the heart of liberal crazy land Berkeley. I love it.
  
  Cesar Chavez OPPOSED illegal immigration. He knew adding more cheap labor meant lower wages for those already working here. He worked with INS reporting illegals on sight and even established a “wet line” along the AZ border to keep illegals out of the US.

  Fun large grassy area, good for kids to run around. Lots of little trails that go across the park. It is a fun place to go for a run/bike.

  Great place for an evening visit. The visits are really amazing at the sunset with the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco downtown skyline all being in the background. There are a couple of small trails / walkways and plenty of parking space around. So definitely a fun place for a quick trip.
