(July 2, 2023, 6:40 pm)Awesome links course... Best value in the Bay Area... Great manager, great assistant manager, great staff... Honest friendly people... Challenging course... Only negative (but it's to be expected when the deal is this good), is a round on the weekend can take 5.5 hrs.

(July 19, 2020, 10:03 pm)Monarch is in decent condition. Few areas where fairway and rough need a little maintenance but not bad. Play was very slow (3hrs thru 10 holes) thru 13 holes until a marshal FINALLY came along and pushed the slow grp directly ahead of us.

Participated in a tournament 7/14/2019
The grass condition is great (4/5 5 being the best)
Since it’s by the bay, it could get pretty windy.
