  I've visited the park several times since being in the area. Usually there are only one or two other cars in the lot. The people I did encounter have been very pleasant. The trails are nice and wide for hiking. The bike riders I was with said the bike trails were very "flowy". Very little debris to stumble over. Saw lots of hawks, an eagle and turkeys as well as song birds. In October, not many flowers and things are browning, but the beautiful views of the surrounding hills, the bay and bridge more than make up for it. Great place to enjoy the peace of the woods or climb to the hills and get your heart rate up. I think it is really nice that there are grills and picnic tables available. Next time, I'll bring lunch.

  Great park but be ready for a steep climb since the parking area is way down the hill from the views. Great off leash area for dogs.

  Great local park for mountain bikers. None of the trails are black diamonds or super technical. Depending on how fast you ride them is how hard they will get if your and experienced rider the berms and table top jumps are tons of fun! Climbs are boring fireroads that are super steep relatively short though. Good old fashion East Bay fun come for a Sunday and meet tons of cool riders!

  Great MTB trail. Quick, fun hard pack. Almost got smoked by another mountain biker with no bell and didn't both announcing his presence coming around a corner. I had to bail off the trail and he kept right on going. Keep your wits about you, folks
