Walmart Pharmacy

First time dealing with Walmart pharmacy, and it's no hassle, no long lines. Professional, Respectful.

They're kinda slow

I visited this pharmacy on Sat Oct, 26th and right before closing. I had come from 17 hours at the most traumatizing emergency room experience in the history of man, where I was frequently terrorized by the charge nurse who was basically Hitler reincarnate- cruelty to patients in distress was her source of recreation.
I expected the pharmacy to be yet another miserable encounter in my day from hell, as it was closing time and I was sure the staff, eager to go home and tired, would turn me away or at least give me a bad attitude. But, it was unbelievably, amazingly quite the contrary and if It weren't for the amazing and wise, caring, empathetic individuals at this pharmacy - who showed the ability to apply common sense and intelligent logic to my situation, I don't know what I would have done, truly. The emergency room, after 17 hours of tormenting me, wrote my prescription for a life-saving blood pressure medication - out to a different patient and the pharmacy was not obligated to fill it. Protocol called for me to have to go back to the emergency room, enter hell again, and have the prescription wrote out properly, to me. I had no car, no money for an Uber and no way to do this. Upon calling the hospital to explain their error to them; Nurse Ratchet demanded that I return and expend my time and energy in an attempt to correct their mistake, and by then the pharmacy would be closed.
Long story short, the pharmacy tech jumped in, called the hospital and spoke to a sane, rational individual and the pharmacist on duty interceded on my behalf and used her authority for good ( unlike the nurse who used her authority to abuse people ) and was able to authorize the filling of my important medication which allowed me to go home, after a day of torment, and rest and sleep. I am so thankful for the people who were on staff at this pharmacy this day. They went above and beyond their call of duty and did so after it was their time to be free from any duty. Thank you so much to the staff who was there that day and for the wonderful display of human kindness. That nurse could take a lesson from this team of experts.
