The Chori-Man

The third time is truly the charm frankly my other two visits there left me wanting but I knew there was something there and this time I found my personal mix: the Tolucan Green Chorizo. This place is not your mama's burrito place this place is 'artisan'. My burrito was fat, hot and delicious: pork chorizo, red potatoes and soft fried eggs (now I understand the love of soft yolk running over hot food). Yummy! Loved it!

My friend chose this restaurant as a central location for eight of us to meet up and have dinner before going to a concert at The Forum. My dad and I were the first to arrive and they put together two tables in the back to seat all of us. The two people who helped us all evening were really friendly and helpful.

Dad and I were starving so we ordered shrimp cocktail and their baked goat cheese appetizers. The shrimp cocktail was great, HUGE shrimp and very tasty cocktail sauce. The baked goat cheese was a hit, everybody enjoyed eating it and the portion was large enough for all eight of us to have some.

Pretty good hot chicken for and a more manageable wait time than some of the other places LA has to offer. Came here on a Friday night for a late dinner. The line wrapped around around the building and I ended up waiting about an hour in line. After I placed my order I ended up waiting another 45 minutes for my food to come out. The inside was pretty packed but people were shuffling in and out frequently. I was able to find a spot fairly fast and I'd say between placing your order and waiting for your food to come out, you'll definitely be able to find a spot if you're looking to dine in.
