Bagels of excellent quality and price. Pleasant chew, great flavors.
Their blueberry bagel special and lox bagel deserve particular commendations. Re: the lox bagel, it's only $10 and has just enough of everything.
Super nice people, and good bagels!
EDIT: I want to note that the everything Bagel is NOT too salty, as they often are. It’s perfect.
Got a plain bagel with cream cheese and lox on everything... it was good... could have used more salmon but if you're looking for something on the lighter side... it was excellent
Fantastic experience. Noah took our order and was well knowledgable and gave real opinions on the menu. He recommended the cold brew and oh man, one of the best cobras I’ve had! Also the pepper cream cheese is intense and delicious. For sure coming back.
I don’t trust anyone that doesn’t love Maury’s. Luckily, I don’t know anyone that doesn’t so far.
These are the best bagels in LA, hands down. I’ve been a patron of Maury’s since Jason was slinging bagels in the back of Dinosaur coffee on saturdays, and I was thrilled when the shop finally opened. This is not a bacon/egg/cheese place, so don’t come here expecting that. Coffee, excellent. Bagels, obviously excellent. Lox, coffee cake, danishes (when they have them), cream cheese— all excellent. These are bagels made with care and love. Staff is always excellent, and Jason is about the most quality business owner you’ll find. So when you eat here, you also get to support some truly excellent humans in the process. What a winning situation for everyone involved.
When I visit my parents out of state, it’s a requirement I come bearing Maury’s, for good reason.
