Carney's Restaurant

I've wanted to check out this location for quite some time. It is a pretty cool, straightforward place. Obviously the outside catches your attention with the rail car look. The food was pretty good, fresh and tasty. The food is presented in a little cardboard box. You can choose to sit inside or outside. I chose outside due to the nice weather. The service was fairly quick.

PROS
* Ample parking.
* Freshly cooked food.
* Outdoor picnic style seating with table umbrellas.
*Easy menu with a good amount of options.

CONS
* Pigeons enjoy outdoor seating area for food scraps.
* Napkins were hard to find (they're on a wall dispenser through the rail car and outdoor area).
* My hamburger bun fell apart very easily. But that didn't stop me from enjoying the burger. lol

This is the go to late night spot off Ventura if you want some greasy American food. don’t let that scare you away. it’s everything that you would hope for and prices are pretty fair for being American food in LA

Been hearing about Carneys from my wife and her best friend for years (like more than 30). Finally got a chance to go today. Had a cheeseburger, Chicagoan dog, and Train Wreck fries. Everything was awesome. But the Train Wreck fries were some of the beat fries I’ve ever had. In n Out doesn’t even compete. Loved them and had to get a pic with Billy!

If you're going here, get the chili cheese fries. INDULGE!!! You won't be disappointed. Inside and outside dining. Great parking lot. Places gets busy but workers are fast and the food is worth it. Fun, cool spot to hang out with friends, grab some good food and enjoy your afternoon!!
