Jesse was amazing! A total hair artist :) I loved what he did for my hair’s texture, keeping the length but allowing it to have more life. He’s also a really cool, chill dude and made me feel totally comfortable. He cut my hair in his patio, which I appreciated so much as I have never had it done like this - guess you really need just a chair and tools, you don't need to be in a stuffy salon. Thank you Jesse!!

I love the hair cut I received from Jesse! I was very impressed by the way he explained his dry cut philosophy and by his calm and caring demeanor. The fact that he makes house calls is a big bonus! I have had my hair done by many top notch stylists in LA over the years and Jesse definitely ranks among them but at a much more affordable price and with much more attention to detail. He truly cares about and loves what he does, (which shows in his cuts) a winning combination and so rare these days! Thank you Jesse!!!

I live in New York but wanted to get my hair cut by Jesse after he did a great job with my sister's hair. He's fantastic - he took his time and really paid attention to what works best for my hair in particular. I loved the ease of the house visit and his flat-rate pricing ($150). Jesse is also just a pleasure to hang out with and brings a very calm, comfortable energy to the whole experience. If you want a cut that accentuates your natural movement and has that 70s French girl meets Patti Smith vibe, I can't recommend Jesse enough. Will be getting another cut from him the next time I'm in LA.

I was pretty skeptical when I saw 100% 5 star reviews, but can see why - Jesse really takes his time to give thoughtful, custom cuts. He only does house visits, which makes it very convenient, and some of our cuts have lasted 3+ hours just because of his attention to the craft and detail! He is a perfectionist and artist in the best way, and has given my hair movement & shape I didn't know it could have given I have stick straight hair. Jesse also has a great calming vibe and it's fun to hang out with him every few months - thanks Jesse!

I recently had my hair cut by Jesse, who is without a doubt an an exceptionally talented hairdresser. I cannot express enough how happy I am with the results. When I met Jesse, my hair was flat and straight, right above my hipbones and I basically asked Jesse to just cut 12” and then do whatever he wanted from there.
I’m so happy I asked him to do what he thought would be best based off of my hair texture and face shape because I truly have never had a better haircut.

Now, my hair has an incredible amount of body and shape and a bit of a unique edge. The most true statement I’ve heard a several times since my haircut has been along the lines of “I didn’t know your hair could do that”. That’s because Jesse literally has the knowledge, skill and talent to transform your hair in ways you didn’t know were possible.

Jesse's professionalism and passion for his craft evident. He was clearly passionate about what he was doing and he’s a super kind guy that my roommates and I enjoyed chatting with while he worked his magic.

It's safe to say that I have found my go-to hairdresser for life. Jesse's exceptional talent, coupled with his kind and calming demeanor, created an experience that is second to none.

I rarely write reviews but I wholeheartedly recommend Jesse, which is why I took far too long to write an essay about him as a hairdresser. Trust me when I say, once you experience Jesse's magical touch, you won't want to go anywhere else.
