  Today my car broke down right before the Marin exit on southbound 101. I would like to commend officers Oacha and Villasenor for their kindness, professionalism, and just plain guardian angels of the road. Since we cannot ride with the tow truck drivers, they assured me they would take me home. Officer Oacha was called away, and within a few minutes Officer Villasenor took his place, stayed with me the remaining 1/2 hr (an hour total waiting for tow), and brought me home. Since I had a recent shoulder surgery, he even helped me carry my groceries to the door.
  
  It's just wonderful to know that these kind souls are patrolling our roads, and are there for us when needed. They are truly our friends.

  Was in a pretty bad accident, and the officers who responded to the accident and arrived within minutes were are extremely friendly, our car is a potential total loss, and while we were waiting for our ride, in the drizzling cold on sears point road, Officer Haven, offered to drive us home. Honestly if i could give this officer a virtual hug I would, after what took place my mom and I were just disoriented and trying to make sense of everything that had just occurred, the officers were all amazing, thoughtful and helpful! A huge applause to the amazing work that you do, thank you!

  On 12-3-18 we experienced a tire blowout on 101 Southbound just short of the Sir Francis Drake exit after running over a metal pipe. We were able to safely pull over to the shoulder and were in the process of attempting to contact Safety Connect when there was a tap on the passenger side window. An officer had noticed us and pulled in behind our vehicle. The officer asked if we were okay, and when we told him we had a flat he immediately offered to change the tire for us! As we were unsuccessful in getting assistance from Safety Connect and were heading to a doctor appointment in S.F. we gladly accepted his offer. Throughout our interaction with him he was extremely kind, professional and courteous. He found the spare and tools, changed the tire and we were on our way. We can't thank the officer enough for his help!

  I got a flat tire, between 10pm and 11pm last night, just as I was pulling onto northbound 101 at Rowland. I pulled over to the right of the road to find out that the front driver side went flat and I was in a new car and I could not find a spare. So, I originally called roadside service to come in and help out with a flat tire, but then I changed it to a tow because I couldn't find a spare. The CHP showed up and asked if he could check to see if there was a spare, so I said, "Sure!" and he found one! I was relieved because he saved me a great deal of time, money, and stress! He was a true life saver, sort of speak! He had a great attitude and was very proactive in his duty to serve as a community leader helping out those in need. He is a true inspiration to the California Highway Patrol and he even gave me that old feeling you get of common courtesy and happiness you find in the television series CHiPs. Thank you for your help!!
