  I used to believe that all banks were the same, and that there wasn't much of a way to distinguish between them. That opinion changed as soon as I met and started working with Alonso at Mechanics Bank about 2 years ago. Not only is Alonso's commitment to customer service is excellent, Mechanics Bank offers all of the services the "big banks" offer. Would recommend for personal and business banking.

  I switched to Mechanics Bank after the Wells Fargo debacle last year. Not only had I lost faith in them as an institution, I realized how generally unpleasant they had been to work with. My wife and I began shopping around and interviewed several bank representatives in Napa. Alonso and the staff at Mechanics Bank were far and away the best so we made the switch and haven’t looked back! They have been such a great bank to work with, for both business and personal needs. Alonso helped us secure a business line of credit when we needed it and he made the process so painless for us. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to switch to Mechanics!

  Customer service is excellent. I changed to a local, small bank during the bank industry meltdown in 2008, partly for political reasons, and partly because the Internet bank I was using was bought out. I can't recommend the experience enough. The people who work at Mechanics Bank are helpful, cheerful and friendly. It's a world of difference.
