Hennessey's Tavern

Nice bar setting, light and open, food is good, not great.
Saturday lunch, nobody was there, we must have had a new waitress who was friendly but not good.

Very lively environment, Food delicious and our server was a darling will return!!

Went in Sunday 4/23 to grab a beverage before heading to TOAST, as we had a 45 minute wait at Toast.
We were greeted promptly by the staff and decided to sit at the bar where Michael tended to us.
We explained to Michael that we were going next door and he did try to earn our business but the reviews for Toast were amazing. So 40 minutes pass, they text us to let us know the table was available and in less than two minutes they canceled our table. Luckily, they gave it back to us after we pleaded our case but seriously, two minutes. Michael was kind enough to provide me a to go cup with my beverage and finished it over at Toast.

So at TOAST We ended up ordering a special coffee which they had which was garbage, and then a burger and the Thai chilequiles. Realistically for all the hype and price, it wasn’t worth it. I would have rather gone back to have Hennesseys food.

After we ate, we went back to Hennessey’s where Michael and his staff greeted us again. He brought out the bucket with remaining bottle of champagne corked and the juice. We had a few more drinks throughout the day, great conversation with Michael and his staff, and enjoyed some great Hennessey’s Lemonade and Blackberry Lemonade. Ask him about the Tequila Bom-Bom (Tequila Slammer). Great deal for Mimosas too.

On the day of my visit it was St. Patty's day and the place was packed which you can see in my pics. The beer was cold and even with a packed place the service was still top notch. I didn't have any food this day but I know it will be something special on my next visit.

Large place . Tasty food. Affordable prices. Very nice staff. Inexpensive and good alcohol. A place you want to return to! We really enjoyed. There is a large selection of teas
