LITERALLY THE BEST poke! When we visit Capistrano Beach this is always an absolute MUST 🙌🏼
Freshest poke. Fast service. But always a line because it's awesome. Off the beaten path but so worth searching out. Just started taking credit cards. It's been cash only up to a month or so ago.
Went for lunch with my cousins. It was my first time here, but I really liked it. Good size portion at a good price. And most important, the taste is great. The only problem is that it is kind of far from me. But if I am in the area, I will get it again. I had the salmon this time. Will have to try something else next time. My cousins all like it, and have been there multiple times before.
Friendly quick service. Fish tastes fresh & clean + sauce was flavorful = food was delicious. Line upon arrival was a bit long (10 people or so ahead) but moved at a steady pace, so the wait wasn't long at all. I definitely see why the reviews for this place are high, as it was an all around positive experience.
I only buy poke from two places: Tokyo Central in Costa Mesa and here at Kawamata Seafood. They do not disappoint. There is a reason why they have such long lines after so many years is because their poke is amazing!
They make everything fresh and are not cheap on the poke.
The only reason I drive to San Clemente is for the amazing poke Kawamata Seafood has to offer, and I hope everyone tries them as well.
Once you try them... you will not be interested in the other poke places anymore, they are that great!
Thank you Kawamata Seafood!
