MonkeySports Superstore - Irvine

Dope place. 5 stars for the team helping us out from heat molding and sharpening my figure skates, to helping my son get his hockey gear. Team member, kitchen, was very helpful and gave us good insight on balancing, hockey to roller blading. The kids had a blast with another hockey player trying out sticks and messing around with the pucks. I wish I had everyone’s names that helped us out- really appreciate all of you!

- Enough parking and a lounge area to chill/try on gear.
- Employees ready to answer questions.

My family recently visited Monkey Sports in Irvine to purchase hockey and goalie gear. We were thrilled to see Tyler was available to assist. As a novice goalie, Tyler previously helped me select a helmet and much needed protective equipment...providing me with valuable tips along the way. This most recent visit, Tyler was able to help me select a pair of leg pads. Tyler was attentive, answered all my questions (and there were a lot of them) and made the trip worthwhile. We had also visited another store this trip, and while their inventory and pricing were comparable, they lacked available in-store personnel with goalie experience to talk me through such a costly but worthwhile purchase. Because of Tyler, I was comfortable dropping some major coin on new gear - which I can't wait to try out. We will definitely be back.

Store has everything you need for hockey with all the top hockey brands plus some budget friendly options too. Several different staff members helped throughout our visit and each were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely come back soon!

Tyler Kitchen is the best salesperson for helping you with your ice hockey goalie gear. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He not only relates to the players but also educates us parents on the pros and cons of different brands and models of the gear. MonkeySports is lucky to have him.

Shout out to these professionals over here! We here for PGF Nationals and my daughters glove snapped a few laces in her glove. Found this place and they fixed it for $5! Took about 30 minutes! Great staff at this amazing sporting good store. They have everything! Actually not much softball but tons of baseball, lacrosse and hockey. May want to expand the softball area seeing how this is the Mecca for Fastpitch Softball!👍🏾👍🏾
