Bought a Hot Springs Grandee from the big retailer up in Placentia. Had fun going from spa to spa like furry little seals comparing jets, filtration and layout. Paid for it dearly in service and response. Really irritating to drop 13k and not receive return calls, so shopped around and found Greg at Hot Spring Spas of Orange County.

This guy is good, his company is relaxed but responsive. Greg remembers your name and your spa, even if you didn't buy it from him. He also gives great advice on products which we've followed since, using less chemicals, hassle and cost than before.

He'll also tell you how to naviagate the system. Recently the remote showed 115 degrees when the water was 85. Greg predicted that it was a thermostat and advised us to call big retailer first to try to get them to honor their warranty. He also told us he would sort out everything with Watkins Manufacturing (which is just down the road in Vista) and make it right if retailer didnt return our calls.

This company is a good resource. This is a case where smaller is better. We should have started here.

I typically don't write reviews but it seems like there is so much negativity out there that I figured I would share my positive experience. In March 2020, I ordered a spa from another dealer and when it was delivered it was out of the box and scratched. The lid was also affixed and oriented in the wrong direction etc. After that fiasco, I contacted Greg at Hot Spring Spas. Greg assured me that he didn't do business like that and that if I ordered a spa through him it would be new and in box. Greg also worked with me on price and honored the deal that I had made with the other dealer.

In May, I ordered a spa through Hot Spring Spas. My spa was just delivered on October 29, 2020. Greg has been great through the whole process. I called about every two weeks and Greg always made sure to speak with me. Many times he didn't have the news that I wanted but he always made sure to tell me what news he did have. About two weeks before my spa was delivered, I was contacted and told that my spa was being made.

When my spa arrived at the shop, Greg told me he would do his best to get it installed before Halloween. I wanted the kids to have a sleep over for Halloween. (With COVID who knows about trick or treating this year.) My delivery date came and so did the Silverado fire. We were mandatorily evacuated on October 27, 2020, through October 28, 2020, which was the the day of my scheduled delivery.

I know that my spa had come with a lot of others and that the customers have been waiting for months to receive them. I also know that Hot Spring Spas was booked delivering two spas a day. Somehow on October 29, 2020 my spa was delivered and set up. Greg really pulled through. His team was professional and knew their stuff. I really appreciate the service Hot Spring Spas has provided for me.

I didn't really understand it at the time, but when you buy a spa you are getting a relationship with that dealer. I would caution anyone buying a spa to shop around and chose wisely. That being said it has been great doing business with Hot Spring Spas and I would highly recommend them.

Great service and after sale support. I purchased my first Grandee Spa from Greg & Scott almost 20 years ago. Since then I have purchased another spa for our Lake Arrowhead home. Greg, Scott and Dan have always been there when help is needed. They stand behind their products and deliver a quality experience to their customers - Thank You!
