I didn't actually have any work done here at the transmission shop but the man was really cool he put it up on the rack you check things out for me and didn't charge me anything I think they're very very nice that way I would recommend them
I went to one of those well-known companies. they told me I needed a $4,000 transmission took it to streamline and found out it was just a cracked pan he only charged me $764 .Which was a great price considering I drive a Jaguar. the owner is very helpful and walk you through every step. a truly honest company
Very good service friendly people very knowledgeable about the workings of cars all makes
We've been coming to this shop for years, since they started. Our first trip, when reverse went out in our pickup. They've rebuilt the trans in both our vehicles -an '01 Dodge Ram P-up, and '06 Pontiac Grand Prix over the years. They've done work on all our vehicles, our friends' vehicles and our kids cars, and we are talking about 10 vehicles. We've never been cheated by this shop, Dennis is honest-tells it like it is, will give us options, if there are any, but we've never been dissatisfied with the work done. We've been ripped off at car shops in the area, so now, we bring ALL our problems here. Our cars run like a top, which is why we keep repairing what's 'wearing' on our older vehicles, and regular maintenance. Key is, stay on top, don't wait until its so far gone it breaks you.
Last year, my husband caught a piece of metal under the car after it fell off a truck on the freeway and it took out our radiator, and a few other parts under the hood. Our insurance totaled our car, they said it would be $3800 to fix it. Streamline fixed it for LESS THAN. HALF, and since it was going out anyway, we had them rebuild the trans at that time, all for the amount the insurance said it would cost, just for the accident repairs.
Dennis is a kind, generous, and upbeat person. It's always a pleasure to chat with him while we wait for small jobs to be done. If he needs to, he will pick you up, or take you home when your car is in repair. Yesterday, while my truck was in for service, he even offered to drive to my doctor 40 miles away, when an emergency came up. Who does that? Dennis, is not just our mechanic we trust, he's become a personal friend over the years. Don't get me wrong, we don't pay him as 'a friend', we don't ask for 'favors'. We pay them the same as anyone-this is his job, his business, his livelihood-which he takes a great deal of pride in and if we could, we'd convince him to uproot his family and move his shop to where we're moving out-of-state. We're trying.
Don't expect frills in the office, they aren't here to entertain guests, they are here to repair cars, and they do it well. Thank you, Streamline for always looking out for us!
5 STARS all around for Dennis, his brother, and all those at Streamline Transmission!!! Love u Dennis!
