Last 1/4 mile (or less) to the peak is narrow road around the peak edge. Can be scary, but the view is nice.
It's worth the drive. Go on a clear day you won't be disappointed. The volunteers are always super friendly
Love the views from up here. The volunteers are always informative and interesting. We take out of town guests up to the fire lookouts for a different mountain touristy experience!
