Motel 6 in Decatur is in a decent location as I don't have a car so I was still able to walk to Walmart it was maybe a half a mile away and they are pet friendly very important for myself as I do have a dog and there's plenty of area for your pet to take care of their business outside they have an indoor pool that is heated very nice they also have one room on the third floor that is a Jacuzzi room their prices are decent they accept cash and card no deposit the rooms were really clean and everything was as it should have been I had no problems with my stay and I was there for a total of 2 months the third floors for smoking and the second first and second floor are smoke free they have vending machines and ice machines and I think coffee in the morning they also have a laundry facility with just one washer and one dryer but it was never busy or full I never had to wait they have plenty of parking and like I said they are located in a good area and good distance to places to eat and the Walmart and whatever else you're looking for everybody was friendly I had no problems with anybody else that was staying there or any of the staff I was able to get my linens really anytime I needed them and they even worked with me when I was waiting on my payday they helped me to feel comfortable and trusted me and took my word as to when I was getting paid and when they would be paid for the couple days that they were letting me stay without paying so I definitely paid them first thing when I got my check and I was just really impressed with their reassurance that I was okay they didn't stress me or pressure me or bug me or constantly hand me for the money I said I would have it when I would have it and they took it at that that was a really nice change from some other places and some bigger cities so all in all I had a really good stay here at motel 6 in Decatur and I would definitely recommend to everybody especially if you have a pet because they are definitely pet friendly

Not sure what people are complaining about. This is the nicest motel 6 I've ever stayed at. First date night in years, and got the hot tub suite for under $95. Room was HUGE and very clean. Bed was comfy. My only complaint would be, the people down the hall with dogs. They barked all night and the couple decided 3:30am was the right time to scream at each other waking us up. Other than that, this place was definitely worth staying. We haven't had the best customer service with the last motel 6 we were at so this was a very nice change.

We have been here 8 days for work and will be back for another week or so. We will definitely be staying here rooms are very spacious and well kept. I am picky on my motel rooms and I felt very comfortable here! Bathrooms clean beds clean and comfy. Front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and ready to help. And our fur baby was welcomed. Property around motel is very well kept with benches for you to enjoy some sun and fresh air. No breakfast but they have coffee right now suppose because of Covid. But everything is so close by it's not an issue. Swimming pool is very clean. So my overall rating of Motel 6 in Decatur TX is definitely a 5 in my book. If your wanting fancy with all the bells and whistles ya will complain about something here (Karen's) I am sure but if you want a wonderful, peaceful, clean, comfy stay with an exceptional staff stay here!! This will definitely be our go to when we are in Decatur!!
