Love the different trails you can take. From nice and flat to more of a hiking trail. Our dog loves going out here. Make sure to bring water during the summer as it does get hot.
Fun trails for mountain biking and hiking.
By far the most interesting trail I've been on yet. It's not too difficult as I did it while holding a one year old. Make your way to the top to truly realize how great this area is. There were a few people doing yoga or other things at the top of the mountain.
Nice place for a short hike or run if you live nearby. Lots of mountain bikes on weekends. Some steep trails, especially going to the top of Calavera. The extinct volcano is interesting and views there are good. The lake is pretty and you can observe a number of birds by the water.
You can do an easy walk over the dam and up to the left to see the caldera. You can also have a hand over hand climb up the caldera if you are sure footed and not afraid of heights. Or walk a slightly easier but longer path up the other side to the peak. Nice and moderately challenging.
