  Nice play to stay while in Julian. It's very, very close to the downtown area. It's got a bit of a rustic, old-timey vibe but it's still quite cozy. Our room was pretty big, and it had a dining table, mini fridge, wet bar, and AC! There's also a pool and hot tub on premises. We booked through airbnb so we never interacted with staff in person.
  
  Keep in kind access to the inn from the parking is up a very steep staircase.

  Literally walking distance to town, nice quiet place. Love the pub and the service was fantastic.

  This was my husband and my first time here. As we pulled up on the Harley we were greeted right away by Mike who was very friendly and welcoming. Mike even went as far as clearing out a space by the house to park the Harley! We then walked up to the main house and met Laura who was very welcoming and friendly as well and asked us if we needed anything. Mike showed us to our room which was warm, stocked with soft and thick toilet paper, makeup remover towels, q-tips, a hair dryer, plates, silverware, utensils, a keurig with good flavored creamers and 2 waters. The heater that looks like a fireplace works well and was cozy. The bed and sheets were comfortable and the room was clean. My favorite part was the open tavern stocked with liquor, all kinds of snacks from chips to cookies to candy bars to Klondike bars, sodas, beers, juice, cups, frozen white castle burgers and burritos! The best part it was open all night long. Our room was by the pool and the pool is even designed with fish in the tiles, cute but too cold to swim. The Inn is walking distance to town. This place did not skimp on any details and we will be back again for sure. The price was fairly reasonable and worth it compared to other motels/hotels in Julian that only give you a room for the same cost. We will be back and we appreciated the hospitality! This is a must see and stay motel!!

  My wife and I stayed this weekend at the Oak Hill Inn in Julian. it was very nice. check in was super easy via Air B&B, it would be easier to find the room if there was a sign with numbers and what not. But luckily when we arrived we were greeted and shown the room, and told that signs are going to be added very soon. the room was very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. the bed was comfy with 4 pillows altogether. we will stay here again if we are in Julian, and so should you.

  Private. Great peace-filled getaway. I will stay again however reluctant to refer friends without saying that it is not thoroughly clean accommodations. There are cobwebs in a cabinet, a hair in the bathroom sink, I cleaned the dirty reusable vent in the wall fan/cooler. The ceiling fan is dirty, I chose not to clean it and therefore did not run it. Mildly "itchy scratchy". Affordable, quiet, walking distance to town, and a great get away! I will consider a return. Pictures on website are not current. There are no fireplaces or woodburning stoves and areas look more spacious than they are.
