  After having issues with the local school district preschool teacher, and deciding the move her to a Montessori school, our daughter has really thrived and matured. The teachers here are knowledgeable and very kind (our child started under 4 years old). It has been a great experience, and we have chosen to leave her in Montessori for TK as well.

  Great service, beautiful presentation and delicious food for the price. A quality neighborhood gem. Great flavors. With had the fish, Camerrones, Brussels sprouts and chicharrones. Nothing disappointed including the wine.

  Both of my children have attended this school and we’ve had a wonderful experience. My son went for 2 years, until age 5, and this is my daughter’s first year there. She is 3. My son is very shy and observant and the Montessori method was a perfect structure for him to do works at his level. He also learned to work in small groups and participate in larger group discussions.
  
  My daughter is very outgoing, and loves sharing time and music. The teachers are very patient in teaching her about the daily routine and helping her express her feelings. She is 3 and almost knows all the sounds of each letter of the alphabet.
  
  I love, love, love the administration and staff at this school. I love having them in a smaller environment where everyone knows their names and cares about their learning experience. The staff is very responsive and accessible and truly cares about the children they teach. I also love that all of the staff meet each morning for devotions. I love that my children are learning about Jesus and seeds are being planted in their hearts during the week in addition to church on Sundays.
  
  Another reason I love this school is the flexibility as a working parent. I work 4 full days per week, so I have my child enrolled 4 full days and am able to have her there until 5:30. A lot of the other faith-based preschools I looked at dismissed earlier in the day with no after care option. And it’s wonderful for our family to continue with the summer program as they are already familiar with the school and staff. One less thing for me to figure out logistically!
  
  Even though my son has moved on to a charter school, the teachers and staff still ask about him and he loves seeing them when we pick up my daughter. I recommend this school to everyone in the area; it’s a little hidden gem in Poway!

  We started out at Legacy when our oldest daughter was 3. She was previously attending a nearby daycare but personally, although she was growing socially, we felt she needed more structure and focus on learning academically at her own pace. We were referred by a friend to look into Legacy. After 2 1/2 years, we can honestly say we adore everything about the school: the overall school environment, the Montessori program, enrichment activities, teachers, staff, and director. Through the years spent, our daughter not only flourished academically, but she learned to recite scripture and retell bible stories at home, learned how to do many tasks all by herself and craved the independence to always do so, have empathy around other kids. Basically, we were very impressed by the level of maturity she showed through acts of self discipline and compassion at a preschool age!
  
  We now have our middle child enrolled in the preschool program and see the same outcomes. We plan to enroll our third child in this school when the time comes because we strongly believe it really is the best learning environment at such a tender age.
  
  If you are interested in a Montessori School that exemplifies Christian values, we highly recommend Legacy Montessori School!

  Both my kids had two years in the Legacy Montessori School before joining public school, I will recommend to my friends with no hesitation. Yes, the Montessori school is strong at academic side, but Legacy is way more than that. The school's teaching also helps build a strong faithful foundation for kids and good characters in a fun and friendly environment. Teachers are well trained, experienced, loving and caring, my kids just genuinely love everyone of them. We will miss the time there!
