Poway Midland Railroad Train Depot

Just in case anybody was wondering as I was since they don't seem to have updates on their website or FB, THE TRAIN IS STILL CLOSED due to Covid 19 as of today Sept 19th, 2020. Drove down here from Temecula on a whim to try to entertain our cabin fevered 2 year old. Good thing the Safari Park is open! The train and park looks fun though! We will be back upon confirmation that the train is up and running!

Charming operation in Old Poway

Such a great place in Poway to bring the kids! Ticket prices to ride the train I believe are $3.50 for adults and $1 for children. They have a steam engine and also a trolley train. The steam engine is hands down the best and is about to be running again (april 28th 2018) Every now and then they even perform a western cowboy bank robber reenactment its great! Eat at the hamburger factory next door and make sure you check out the Veterans memorial across the street!

My little one loves this. If you plan on going a few times get the family membership . It's totally worth it. 45 bucks for the family (2 adults 2 kids) with unlimited rides . This price is for the year . Pretty cool

This is a great place to come on the weekends. On Saturday's, there is a farmers market early in the day. On Saturday and Sunday the train runs and is a great time for kids of all ages.
