Silverset Neighborhood Park

This is an enjoyable place to visit.

Playground is great for toddlers. Loved the little dirt path around the park. Scenery is lovely.

Great playground and park with amenities in good conditions, including toilet paper in the bathrooms!
Big open area for kids to run and play, basketball courts, caged batting/softball area. Really a great place! Many dog owners like to bring their leashed dogs for walks here as well.
The one challenge is that a few visitors allow their dogs to leave fecal matter uncollected. The park has free bags at multiple stations to avoid this, but a few 'bad apples' don't use them. Needing to keep an extra eye out so my toddler doesn't get too close to dog poop brings it down to 4 stars.

Hiked a fun trail up Twin Peaks. Some parts are steep. Several areas are rocky enough that it’s difficult to keep your footing, even with hiking shoes. Lots of loose dirt. However the view from there is beautiful of the valley, overlooking Poway. It was great to get out of the house and get some sun.

Outstanding hiking area. Get your hat and hiking shoes also water. Moderste to strenuous hikes to twin peaks...go early take a hiking buddy. Enjoy!
