  Good evening,
  
  I am from Canada but I have an amazing aunt and uncle that live in La Jolla. We visit them as much as we can.
  
  So, on our last visit we visited the Cove. I had a personal situation that required intervention, so I looked for assistance. I walked in to this restaurant and asked for help. The gentleman that was there was glad to assist. I can tell you how grateful I was in that moment. I will not forget it. Whomever hired this fella did a great job, and while I did not eat at this restaurant on this day, I will when I return...and I'm 100% sure I'll get great service.

  Good coffee. Cool vibes. The food was good. Perfect poached eggs. Delicious bacon. Service was a little slow even when they weren’t busy, but overall, pretty great.

  What a nice little restaurant! We just dropped in for a sandwich but left as friends. Great food and a very creative menu. I had a salad, which was excellent, and the girls had sandwiches. Great service too. Highly recommend the food, the view and the people.

  Absolutely delicious. It has been a while since I've been to a smaller restaurant that has blown me away like this. The service is great and the food is so fresh and delicious with generous portions. I could not bare to leave anything on my plate even though I was full just over half my plate. Highly highly recommend!

  Very good food. Excellent location - first restaurant up the hill from the Cave. The chef bent over backwards to accommodate my pepper allergy (that’s right, pepper!). Fish and chips were heavenly. Plain burger ???? hit the spot. And kids plate is a-ok. Especially seeing how I finished it off! Thank you for making it such a good experience.
