  HANDS DOWN THE BEST THAI FOOD IN SAN DIEGO
  
  I always get excited to go here, the best food and worth the trip.
  
  One of the dishes was feature on a list of places to try before you die by Troy Johnston, food critic from San Diego Magazine. The Red Curry. I have had it, it is good but I probably wont order it again.
  
  What I do order here is the Spicy Eggplant with Basil. THIS IS AMAZING. My favorite dish, the flavors, the seasoning...OMG so good. I get it with no meat, just veggies, not even tofu. It is a must try.
  
  The Pad Prik Khing is another of my favorite, with Beef. You will love it. You cannot go wrong with Fried Rice, any of the version.
  
  I will say that the Carmel Mountain spot is not the same as the Linda Vista, I prefer the Linda Vista spot.

  Great flavors, I tried Green curry and Panang curry, loved it. One Pro tip you cant use any credit cards or debit cards there, they only accept cash. So carry it. No washrooms either. Not good.. Always crowded, but I never had to wait in line that's good..

  This has been my regular spot for Thai for over a year. The Thom Kah Gai is one of the best in Southern California. Unfortunately the spice rating is all over the place, super inconsistent. When i take company i usually order everything without spice. The male servers are 10x nicer than the ladies. Try and sit in their section if you can. Also limited beer and wine, consider bringing your own and paying corkage.

  Love sab-e-lee! Their food is delicious, It's a hidden gem. Only reason for not giving them 5 stars is they do not accept credit card and they have an odd spice level scale. They tell you "medium" is a 3 on a 1-10 scale. I have ordered a 2 once it was almost too hot to eat. I'm not sure what an 8 or 9 would be like!
