Maggie's Cafe

Visited San Diego and could not find a restaurant that I enjoyed until I came here. I had the chicken and waffles and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. Recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for easygoing but excellent experience.

Great food, great service. We first ordered takeout dinner while we were visiting the area. We loved the food so much we decided to go back a few days later to try breakfast. We had brunch with a group of 7 and ordered breakfast food. French toast, fried steak, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and chilaquiles. Everything we ordered was really good. No complaints about the service either. The food and service was on point.

Wow! I’m so happy we found Maggie’s cafe. Definitely our new favorite spot!! Absolutely delicious food and amazing hospitality! We are new to the area and I already know we will become “regulars” at Maggie’s cafe.

This is a hidden neighborhood gem, if you do not live nearby you may not know it but it is worth the trip. I had steak & eggs, perfectly cooked & seasoned. Hot wings are also good. My wife had Carnitas skillet, very tasty! Drinks are awesome.

Waiters have personality AND amazing customer service, very impressed! Food is always delicious and fresh, I’ve tried ‘Brunch Potato Skins’ and the Chilaquiles and I’ll definitely be back again with friends and family! Mimosas are also super yummy :)
