  This dental practice is amazing from the front desk experience, to the hygienists and doctors, everyone is incredibly experienced and focused on the patient. Do you ever face the problem of loving your dentist but can't tolerate the surly office staff? Not at this place! They are all genuinely kind, compassionate professionals. And, they give back to the community. I found them when I lost my dental insurance and they were offering free cleanings to local veterans for Veteran's Day.

  Dr. Patrick McEvoy is the most genuine, considerate, and technically proficient dentists I've ever had the pleasure of coming across, and there are dentists in my family I hope never read this. He helped me out during a time I really didn't trust the dental industry due to a previous experience I'd gone through recently. Despite past experiences Dr. McEvoy, or as he insists I call him, Patrick, showed me just how wonderfully powerful technology and human expertise can be when combined and directed to the task of dental care.
  
  I haven't needed it personally, but according to a source I trust very much, my mother, his syringe-less numbing technique is painless and proficient and makes it so precise your whole jaw isn't tingly or numb after the procedure (Lets face it no one want to walk around with half their face frozen for a third of the day). And on top if it all you get the charm and swag only a British gentleman could hope to muster. I couldn't be happier with my choice of dentist, and I know you'll be happy as well.

  I had a very positive experience with Dr. McEvoy and his staff. The technology that he uses is amazing (ever have a filing done without having your jaw/gums penetrated with a HUGE needle?) Well, with Dr. McEvoy, you ll never have to be stuck again! :) He uses a special numbing pump that gets the numbing medication right to the area in question. No topical...and no needle!
  
  Also, when I go in for procedures I usually take my own headphones and music (wireless headset and iPod). During my most recent visit (last week), I was impressed to discover that the office acutally offers patients music to listen to or movies to watch during your procedure. :)
  
  While I didn t try the (free) service, I will take them up on it the next time I visit. The movie viewer looked to be some sort of projection you wear like glasses. And the movie list was pretty extensive. I was pretty impressed to say the least. And tho I didn t really delve into the music channels on the music list, they appeared to be satellite stations: Country, Rock&Roll, R&B, etc. You choose the genre you want to hear while having your procedure done. Again, top notch technology.
  
  The Receptionist (Susie) is fantastic! She is very personable and you ll find speaking with her a pleasure. And the Billing Specialist (Rosie) is also great and well versed in her craft! She was able to call my insurance company, find out my benefit, then inform me of the risk/reward by waiting until the New Year to determine what the insurance would be able to cover...or not, thus saving me money in the long run! Now that s service!

  Best dentist I've ever had, and I've had many due to moving. Had cap placed on after root canal, new enamel on teeth due to grinding, and usual cleanings. He couldn't figure out why a perfect tooth would die (need a root canal) and searched until he found it (crack at side of tooth due to bite pressure). Has very up to date equipment (unusual for almost all dentist) and has a very knowledgeable, competent staff and happy staff. Soft spoken and very polite.

  I won't make this lengthy, because I don't need to. Hands down, Dr. McEvoy and his awesome, awesome staff is the place to go. I have been with them for over 10 years and what brought me to them is there emphasis(!) on comfort. His expanded office is highest-tech. From the front desk inward, everyone is pleasant, patient and professional. I am up in Santa Cruz mountains and I still wouldn't go anywhere else. You can stop looking for a Dentist/Dental office. This is it. He needs to update his photo on this page though ;>
