  Good place to go walking, kinda hilly though, can get Hot also bring water.

  Natures best for stress and this was a very nice stress reliever walking through this park. I recommend coming here to get away from the day to day

  Nice park for hiking. There is ample free parking. Trails are mostly open to sun. And there is nothing much to do along the trails except enjoying the views. No picnic tables (except one very close of entrance and full of mousquitos), no place to rest.

  The Figueroa Trail up to Fish Camp is a lovely and realtively easy ride, and well shaded for part of it which is a lovely break on hot days. The stop at Fish Camp has a tie-rail for horses, a picnic bench overlooking a cute lake, and a trough of water to refresh the animals. Keep it relaxed by retracing your steps home, or cover new ground on the steeper alternative trails.

Calero County Park is a big park, it connects with Rancho Canada Del Oro Open Space Preserve as well as Calero Reservoir for boating. I've never had the chance to hike Calero in the spring and have only been here in the summer months when everything is dead and dry.
