Nice hotel, had a good stay and then walked across the street to the airport in the morning, which is extremely convenient. My only complaint is that the towels in our room were new and had never been washed - I ended up with white fibers and towel debris stuck all over my body, all through my hair, and it was quite hard to remove. Not cool.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were traveling from 10 hours away, during a hurricane, and they assured us our room would be available for us, and it was. The hotel lobby, restaurant, room, and bathroom was extremely clean. We did not visit the pool. Our bed in our room was VERY comfortable. We needed and extra blanket and called down to the desk and they had one to our door within minutes. The bathroom shower was very relaxing and the water didn’t have an awful smell, like several other hotels we have been in. The room was updated with a modern motif, and nice lighting and a large tv, as well as nice vinyl plank flooring that made it very clean. The only issue we had was the food and service in the hotel restaurant. The food was low quality and over priced. We had the flounder, which was nothing more than frozen fish patties that had been deep fried. We also had chicken stripes that were slightly better. The mashed potatoes were somewhat of a cafeteria type. Our wine and martini were delicious. We were grateful for any food at that point in our travels, as we came a long way and a hurricane was hitting the area. We also are aware that staffing is an issue everyplace in the country, as our wait time was long at our table, but again, staff was very friendly and helpful when helped. The following morning breakfast was good and staff was extremely nice and more than friendly, especially for being an early 7am on a Sunday.
We will be returning to the area again. We will certainly be returning back to stay.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Airport for our wedding festivities. We had 30 rooms blocked with friends and family flying in from different locations. The Marriott shuttle from the airport was absolutely perfect. When guests arrived, they were treated extra special being a part of our wedding and being the bride, and I can honestly say there was such peace of mind throughout the entire weekend! We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Marriott and felt like royalty! Each staff member took a special part in our wedding celebrations, and we couldn't have done it without them! The Due South staff serving my large groups of Italian/Southern families filled the dining area and was still cared for with the most extraordinary hospitality. We worked with Amber coordinating our plans from room blocks, hotel gift bags, and rehearsal dinner, and everything discussed was brought to life to every detail; it was perfect. Finally, I must mention Bril and Lillian at the front desk. Talk about hospitality! They truly made my husband and I felt like king and queen and continued that feeling with my friends and family! They were equally excited and happy for us as the rest of our group. From ensuring our rooms were perfect, guests were satisfied, and they went above and beyond by extending a helping hand outside their job duties! We loved every minute that was spent at the Marriott. Thank you for everything! It truly means so much to the world to us!
