  My home church! I so appreciate how the Word of God is elevated above modern psychology, trends, or wishes; yet, as an evangelistic force, is as relevant as the gospel (since that's what we preach anyway)! Our pastor follows after God, and shepards with a big heart. Come and join us, we'd love to worship with, and get to know you.

  Preach the Word, love the people: Great formula for a church & Camarillo Community Church is aiming to increase the loving practice among its membership and within the community. The music is modern but the preaching is sound and old fashioned. The teaching will mostly be expository but it could be topical if the preacher deems it necessary or more useful - I think trusting the teacher to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit makes intense sense in this regard, instead of insisting rigidly on one or the other.

  I have been a member here since 1994. This is a place of love and life transformation. The Bible is taught every week by the very capable Dr. David Hurtado. My review is not completely unbiased as I serve this church as the executive pastor! We would love to have you visit us.
