Hearth House

Hearth house did a great job! Efficient and communicative. They were able to work around our lack of extra floorboards and all the work they did (pulling out wood burning unit, installing a new unit, new mantle and masonry) took place over just 2 days. Loved that they were a one-stop-shop that could handle every aspect of the project.

I cannot say enough about how amazing it was to work with the Hearth House. My previous fireplace was wood-burning (pictured) and we switched to a Mendota gas fireplace with a modern vibe for our mountain home. They nailed the design exactly as I wanted, and used their own guys to build the BEAUTIFUL walnut custom hearth and frame out/place over 16ft of stone! In addition, Hearth House also set-up all the appointments for the gas line and electrical work, making it a completely seamless and easy process for me. I barely had to do anything except tell them what I wanted. I have already used the fireplace quite a bit, the LEDs and vapor wave backdrop are quite a fun touch. My cat ranks it a solid 10/10, and I'd have to agree. Thanks Hearth House!

Hearth House to the rescue! My 70 year old house had a non-functional fireplace that I had been trying to update and make functional since we moved into the house 30 years ago. Hearth House suggested drywalling the old fireplace and installing a free standing gas stove. Hearth House coordinated the removal of the hearth stones around the fireplace base to be replaced with wood flooring. The fireplace was then framed and drywalled. The stove installation was done in a day and that evening, I was enjoying my new stove. The custom mantle cap will be installed in a few weeks. Hearth House coordinated all aspects of the process and were very professional from start to finish. I would recommend Hearth House to anyone looking to update their fireplace to the 21st century and to make their home cozy and inviting.

When I decided to add a fireplace, I began by searching for a place to buy one. I shopped everywhere and after weeks of talking to salespeople and getting bids from a variety of contractors, I gave up on the idea … it was too difficult and expensive.
Then I found Hearth House in Boulder. I talked to Ryan. He listened to what I wanted and my needs and helped me find the right fireplace. I didn’t feel “sold”, I felt helped by someone trustworthy, so I hired Hearth House. Wow, what a great decision! Not only did they coordinate all the contractors who made it happen, but they used professionals all the way. My home was carefully protected from the construction and the work was beautifully done!
The way a business handles the inevitable glitches of a job speaks volumes. When we had a hiccup, a simple call to Steve, the construction manager, was answered immediately and the problem rectified just as I would have wished and without any hassle! The job is now finished, and it is beautiful! On a scale of 1 to 10, Hearth House deserves at least an 11. I highly recommend that you start with them as you’ll finish with them!
