  Our children LOVE Our School Preschool. I love how much they are learning and growing. The cooperative nature of the school fosters a strong community of parents who actually get to know one another. Before we attended, I did not know much about purposeful play-based curriculum. The school, its curriculum and the other families have a great positive impact on the social and emotional development of our children.

  Our daughter had a wonderful experience at Our School Preschool. She was there for a year and a half, in the 3-day and 4-day sessions. We also did the summer session between the two academic years. She regularly described Our School as "the best preschool" and always looked forward to being there. Megan and Jim (and Yvonne, who is semi-retired) are thoughtful, dedicated teachers. The co-oping experience was great as well. Getting to know my daughter's classmates was delightful and helped me understand her experiences with them. I also like that she had an opportunity to get to know the other kids' parents when they would co-op.
  
  Most of all, the school encourages and facilitates children's curiosity and nurtures their love of learning, which (as I see it) are the most important things in a preschool.

  My daughter is currently in the 3-day session and seems to be thriving at Our School. There is so much room for free play and for the children to influence the activities of the day. I think Megan and Jim have just the right level of involvement - they are very aware of what is going on but don't get overly involved when the kids are figuring things out for themselves.
  
  They also have a wonderful collection of natural materials, blocks, books and art supplies.
  My husband and I regularly gain parenting tools and insights from Megan and Jim and really value the Attachment Theory that they build around. We appreciate the parent involvement through the co-oping program and other gatherings.

  We love this school! The teachers are very knowledgeable about child development and have many years of experience. It's play-based, and my son gets to do all sorts of neat and fun activities, from woodworking with real tools, to "stitching" with yarn and dull needles. The teachers focus on helping the children develop their social skills, and my son has become so much more interested in his peers since going there.

  When we walked into Our School Preschool for the first time, we knew it was something special. The school is filled with building materials, paint supplies, playdoh, dress up clothes- creative possibilities shouting out at you everywhere you look. The kind of school that makes you wish you were three years old again. And then we got to know Jim and Megan, our son's teachers. They are so knowledgable about child development and what young brains need to learn and thrive. Everyday my son grows, not only mentally, but socially and emotionally too. Our School is a co-op, so once a month we get to spend an entire session with the kids. It is such a beautiful thing to watch the children interact with each other; they are respectful, considerate, kind and full of smiles. I love our time spent at Our School and love that my son is now in his second year there. And the moment my youngest is old enough, he'll be there too!
