Best dog park around. Great area for letting the dogs out to exercise and socialize. Please make sure your dog obeys voice commands or keep your dog on a leash.
First time at the park. It was beautiful. Perfect place for autumn pictures. Besides our group, I saw at least 3 other groups getting photos taken. Must be the place in C Springs for photos. It had the perfect atheistic for a Halloween witches shoot. Also had a creepy little wooden hut built to make it even better.
Very clean park with nice hiking loops. Fairly large place with flat terrain and pretty Ponderosa Pine trees!
I love this park!!! As Colorado Springs continues to grow, every park with hiking trails feels overcrowded regardless of what time you go to the park. I typically go to Fox Run earlyish in the morning, before 9:00am. It never feels crowded, I can always find a parking spot, and when I do cross paths with other people, they are friendly and say good morning.
Great park, with a little something for everyone. There are two play structures, open fields for running and games, this neat little grove of trees for kids to wind in and out of, and much longer trails for the hikers as well. There is a great little mash of trails around the two little lakes; very woodsey but with lots of benches and a gazebo and water feature. Seems to be a favorite with dog owners. Kids will also enjoy the koi fish in the ponds as well as the turtles! Trails are dirt, but packed enough for a stroller as long as it hasn't rained recently.
