Woodmen Valley Chapel is a place where you can come to understand humanity's higher purpose to love well, to be constructively challenged in your own biases about what it means to be a follower of Christ (even if you count yourself as a "lifelong" Christian), yet welcomed as an equal by those who understand that we, as humans who were lovingly made, are also equally and deeply flawed - and thus incapable of passing worthy judgment on any other human. Yes, you can always find those who presume to take on an air of judgment believing themselves superior to other believers or those new to the faith, but it's the caring pastoral staff who set this church apart. If you are curious about what's in the Bible, here you will find teaching focusing on its contents, presented in their written context and then clearly related to today's world. You will find a Church that values compassion above judgment, faith above appearances, and celebration of our differences as inseparable parts of a whole.
