Great addition to the Poudre River Trail. I appreciate the improvements made by Larimer County to restore the River Bluff Open Space. The Town of Windsor is building a new trail connection from the High Hops area, around the north side of Kyger Reservoir, and connecting to the River Bluff Trailhead. It is going to get better and more people will have access.
Beautiful area. Great for a picnic or just walking around in the river. Bring water shoes!

Super easy to find. Perfect spot if you're looking to be alone on the trail. And of course the scenery is magical as you travel between the rolling hills of the high planes and the forested fairy land of the river

Not too long ago I took the opportunity to adventure out to the River Bluffs Open Space to get a first-hand look at the riparian site where we will be working at on March 23rd. Prior to this visit I had only seen pictures and heard about the site.
