I was a staff member at one time. Childrens Hospital is a great place to work. It may get busy that's because they are dealing with some serious health issues with our little ones. So be patient you will ❤ love the care.
This Children's Hospital is wonderful! The staff are so kind and attentive. ER staff is really nice. They handed out heated blankets to patients. Free Starbucks in the family waiting area! They are so attentive with being short staff. Listening to my daughters needs, and answering my questions. If they don't have an answer, they find one. They really show they care through their works!
Absolutely a wonderful hospital. The staff was attentive, patient, caring, and went above and beyond to make our experience as least traumatizing as possible. They consider everything there, even going so far as to have a locker room for parents to bathe in or providing a computer and internet to use. The nurses tried to comfort my baby as much as possible. They had a volunteer come in to play with my baby so I could take a break. She left happy and healthy and I couldn't ask for more than that.
I wish they could upgrade a bit, and that staff needs more amenities. Those people are doing God's work, they need massage chairs and a chef to cook for them weekly.
I try to call every year to speak with and thank the nurses who actually got us through the guilt, anguish and helped me stay sane during my stint at Children's. They were the best ever. They kept me sane while my son was so very ill. They went above and beyond and took excellent care of my son, Dawson. Jenn, Heather and Sarah. You all are the best ever.
Our son has grown into a terror from hell and we love every moment of it.
This hospital has literally saved my son’s life 3 times. He has 2 breathing disorders and has spent most his life in this hospital. His surgeon (Dr. Pamela Mudd) and her team are amazing! All the nurses and doctors we’ve had with the exception of one have been awesome! The one doctor that was an issue has been blocked from ever handling my sons care. The nurses and other doctors were very helpful and handling the situation.
