Sheridan comes alive in this striking statue. Like Charles Sumner, Sheridan is one of our primary heroes in the fight against black slavery.
Pictures displayed are from the Phillips Collection. A wonderful art gallery with a very nice staff. Pleasant experience always, best art gallery in town. A+
Has got a beautiful scenery, traffic fair but busy during morning and evening times. Getting parking here is a challenge most times and the place is sorrounded by Embassies all over. Its a nice place to visit while in DC.
It was September 21, 1976, when the car in which Orlando Letelier was traveling with his secretary Ronni Moffitt and her husband, exploded in the heart of Washington, USA, thus becoming the first terrorist act of a foreign government in the American capital.
It's a nice little public park with some benches. Nice embassies, statues and memorial nearby, including historical information about the assassination of Orlando Letelier and Ronnie Karpen-Moffit, which happened at the circle in the 70s.
