  I HIGHLY recommend Kyle to teach you how to swim! As an adult who didn’t know how to swim before, I learned after one day. I only took 5 classes and can’t believe how much progress I made! It is such an Amazing feeling to know how to float on my back and turn over!
  Kyle has so much patience that I felt extremely comfortable with him. I was someone who experienced extreme anxiety going under water that he helped me overcome it!
  He really is an INCREDIBLE instructor! I’m so HAPPY that I signed up with Maureen’s Swim Academy! What also made this school special is the classes is held in her indoor heated pool. I wouldn’t look anywhere else!

  Picked this program based off of the reviews and proximity to home/school. Cannot say enough good things about Maureen’s Swim Academy. My son has been attending for the past 6 weeks and the progress he’s made is truly unbelievable. He recently turned 3 and the program is fun, engaging & safe. It’s been really fun to watch his confidence grow week by week!

  My son was on week 2 of swim lessons at Maureen’s and it was like watching a different child! He let the instructor take him to the bottom of the pool and we even went on a boat this weekend and he let my husband jump off the boat with him which dunked his head under water and he didn’t blink! To think I would have missed that moment if I gave up week 1 when he was hysterical crying. Week 1 was very difficult watching him cry the first couple lessons but we didn’t give up and today on week 3 he was so excited to go swimming! 10/10 recommend! Teaching your child how to float and safely get back to the edge of a pool is a huge relief that he will know how to stay safe in the water and I’m so happy we started and didn’t give up. !

  Maureen was great!! She gives the kids a firm hand while teaching the vital skills. My then 3 and 5 year old learned so much and still implement those skills a year later! I can confidently say if I my kids fell in a body of water they have the tools they need to get to safety !!

  I strongly recommend Maureen's Swim Academy, but especially Brenna Bowman as a swim teacher. Brenna is amazing with children and she had my 8 year old son literally swimming within 15 minutes of his first lesson. He went into his 6 weeks of lessons with no swim experience and a bit of a fear of the water and within a few minutes she had him swimming. We did 6 weeks and then about 6 months later we did another 3 weeks refresher. He now looks like a pro doing several different strokes. Private lessons are far superior to group lessons. You won't regret it.
