  I LOVE this store. They are by far the most reasonable (and HUGE) mineral store I have been to. They always have in new items, and I could spend hours in this store. I try to limit how often I go because I always end up with a whole basket full of stuff! But it sure is a fun place to go to. I recommend the mining as well, especially if you have kids. You get quite a bit of gems and stones out of the bags for the price, and it is well worth the entertainment value. Besides the obvious, they also have jewelry, salt lamps, sculptural items, bags, dream catches, clothing, and value items (a dollar table among other areas of the store that have inexpensive souvenirs). If you are into pretty shiny things, I definitely recommend this store!

  This is by far one of my favorite places to go. For the most part, I go to Old Town to go to Black Market Minerals. Great selection, great prices, and great vibes here. The staff is friendly and helpful, no matter how busy it gets in there. Love it!

  1) This shop, as advertised, is a mineral shop. They’re beautiful and not too pricey. Everything is pretty nicely organized and there’s tons to overload the senses as you walk through (then again, I’m high functioning autistic).
  
  2) It would be great to have more clear labeling. The stickers with hand written labels (name and pricing info) have either faded or been removed so it’s harder to find what I’d like.
  
  3) The incense section is a very small area and does not include many types. I prefer loose incense and charcoal. So I have to find another place for my herbal needs because I’m looking for much more than sage kits.
  
  4) Over all, the staff is great! I’m guessing the one staff member was having an off day because she had the vibes of “I don’t want to be here today”. I get it, she’s human. I know my face can’t lie. But it wasn’t a welcoming feeling.
  
  TL;DR: This place is great for the crystal needs. It’s not all inclusive (no herb selection) so I do have to go elsewhere for some items. But it’s a nice shop for some basic needs and some cool spiritual decor.

  For those of us that love rocks and sparkle, you'll love this store. There's something in here for everyone. You just can't go in and not touch something or walk past a giant geode and stand in awe. The colors, the textures, the simple discovery of the earth will keep you there and saturate your inner curious child.
