Excellent display of so many ways artist can conceive and use glass. Like the last photo which you should enlarge to appreciate how, using only clear glass, you see the clear container holding the clear water that looks fluid. Imagine is a wonderful place to cool off for a few hours for a cheap price which includes rare free parking. Never thought I could appreciate glass but was drawn in by the dress. The clear glass dress is a full woman size with such incredible detail.
The Imagine Museum in St Petersburg is open and it's a great experience for the entire family. From amazing original glass artwork to Star Wars themed art pieces you will find something for every interest in your group. The visits are scheduled with the ticket purchase and the experience is very simple and smooth to enter the location and begin contemplating. They have a June special for locals that you shouldn't miss. The souvenir shop is also a treat where you will find nice items to remember your visit and also give your support. You can't go wrong here so come visit!
Beautiful little museum. Every display in the museum is made of glass and/or crystal. The displays were enjoyed by all of our family members, young as well as adults. The museum has a small souvenir shop, where visitors can purchase some beautiful glass works. The museum offers discounts to students with current school year ID. It took us about an hour to see most of the displays. We're planning a return visit.
Enjoyable museum with a wide variety of styles of glass art. It was very interesting to learn how relatively new the art form is!
The 10 dollar admission I paid was worth it, however I'm not sure that I would say the 20 dollar normal price is exactly a bargain. However, they seem to have quite a few ticket specials.
Very cool little spot in St Pete. I just moved to the area and this was one of the first on the list for art museums. We grabbed one of the ticket specials and made a girls' day. We really enjoyed the variety of glass art. Some of the lights can be really intense if you're photosensitive, but the docent was thoughtful to ask the room about anyone sensitive to blinking lights before turning on one of the exhibits. I stepped into a different gallery while my friends checked it out so I really appreciated the warning.
