  Martel Electrical provides professional, competent, and exceptional service. I recommend this company without any reservations. Mr. Martel is prompt, courteous and reliable. He answers the phone and shows up on time. This is a huge bonus. Finding people who do what they say they will is unfortunately becoming more and more rare. I recently remodeled my kitchen and he rewired and replaced all my outlets and lighting fixtures. This was not easy. He had to go into the attic several times. He measured placement and actually discovered mistakes the cabinet installers made. I also had my exterior outlets/fixtures all replaced after hurricane Matthew by Martel Electrical. They helped me weatherproof my home in Ponce Inlet. Don't look for the lowest priced electrician. To get professional and long-lasting results, I recommend Martel Electrical.

  My mom lives in Port Orange, I live in VT. It is sometimes very difficult to figure out how to best take care of an issue when I am 1300 mi away. Last Fri. my mom told me that she had suddenly lost power in her living room. We contacted an old high school friend of my spouse's who lives in Port Orange and he gave us two suggestions. We did a little research and went with Martel Electric.
  
  I called Mr. Martel early Tuesday morning. He personally answered the phone. He gave me an arrival time between 2 and 4 pm. I was shocked and pleased that he could look at the system the same day. He he arrived around 3:30. I was pleased. That late in the afternoon, I was hoping for bare minimum of a diagnosis to the problem. I not only received a diagnosis, He stayed and fixed the issue. Three hours later, he not only fixed the issue, he had fixed several other smaller issues in the process.
  
  I cannot say enough about the professional, courteous, friendly service he provided. What I cannot say enough about Mr. Martel was his willingness to make sure everything was in better shape than it was when he first arrived.
  
  I know this must have been a long day for him, and I'm sure unplanned. For my family and mom, a senior citizen, i cannot express the difference it made to know she was treated with respect, fairly and beyond our expectations. For the work and effort he put in, I feel he was more than fair with the final bill.
  
  I will definitely use Mr. Martel again if needed, and will definitely recommend him to anyone else looking for an electrician.

  Mr Martel is an excellent contractor He saved me from a huge expense by correctly finishing a job done by another contractor. I recommend him 100%.

  Dennis Martel is the only electrician I would recommend for any size electrical job. He was on time, called before arriving and his fee was exactly how he described prior to hiring him. If you need a very friendly professional electrician for your electrical needs, that answers his phone and calmly discusses your electric problem, I would call Mr. Martel. He is highly skilled at troubleshooting electrical problems. He discovered wiring connection issues with a non working GFIC outlet next to our kitchen stove related to original construction from 2002. I called two electricians and got answering machines, next call was personally answered by Mr. Martel, I should have called him first but did not know who to call or trust in the Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach area.
  
  Straight shooter, honest, highly experienced, skilled and VERY professional plus reasonable, I would highly recommend to anyone needing simple or complex electrical repairs to call Dennis first and explain your electrical issue with him. Mr. Martel is a special repairman in a world filled with talkers, fakes and imitations !!!!
