“No Doubt, one of the best steakhouses we have been to and family owned by a wonderful family. Kaitlin waited on us and she is the daughter and a beautiful young lady. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home and welcome. And then the food is beyond fantastic. We started with their homemade chicken gnocchi to the likes we have never had before and phenomenal. Then the prime rib then came with the sides and we could not believe the huge portions and the taste. Seems nowadays it is hard to get a good cut of beef, but not here. We also had their onion rings and fried okra that are to die for along with their ranch dressing. The horseradish sauce is homemade and you can tell. For dessert, we had their chocolate peanut butter pie and that is the best we have ever had. The value here you cannot beat - very reasonable in these times. I wish we lived close but whenever we come back to town we will be there.”

“I’ve worked out in so many gyms over the years and this is by far my favorite. Has every piece of workout equipment you could think of besides a pool, but I hate swimming so personally don’t need that. Never too crowded, people are friendly and respectful, 2 functional training rooms, a women’s only room, a giant regular gym area with all the cardio, machines, and free weights that go well over 100lbs (I know some gyms only have dumbbells up to 100lbs). This gym has a lot of body builders and people who are very serious about fitness, but also people just starting out. You can also bring your kid with you which is a major plus for this single mom. The new owners are making it cleaner and doing renovations so it’s looking nicer inside as well. My dad lives in NYC and anytime he’s down to visit, he wants to go to my gym, and it takes A LOT to impress that man. I workout for mental health benefits and as a hobby, and I consider this place my sanctuary. I’ve also noticed that the new owner remembers the members on a first name basis when greeting them or telling them to have a good day as they leave. I’ve been lifting for almost 2 decades, and this gym is the GOAT for me.”

The ice cream was exactly what I needed on this hot day. I chose the Razzle Dazzle and my husband got the Pistachio, both waffle cones. So good 😋🍦 I also tried the Fat Elvis and it was tasty as well. She offered us as many samples as we liked, no rushing us, very laid back and catered to the customer experience.”

“When I first moved to Florida, I went without a haircut for almost a year. It’s hard to find someone you trust and the first person I chose cut my hair too short to the point it brought me to tears. I found Chaela at a chain location and she fixed it the best she could. I have since followed her to her private studio where she now operates out of. She has a beautiful and stylish room. Most importantly she is professional and knows what she is doing. She was able to make suggestions on how to make my hair not like as fine and thin. And we all know that our hair stylist and our bartenders double as therapist. She takes the time to listen, make conversation and remembers what’s going on in your life four years later. I can’t say enough nice things about her. No matter where she goes, I will follow!”

“When the old owners ran the joint they would look out and loan us a pack off smokes every now and then when we were short on cash. But moving back to South Daytona after nearly a decade I thought the new guys were insane to be selling novelty items. I thought the neighborhood was in trouble or something. But after getting to know them a little. Realizing they've tried to expand a business that was so small back when I was a pup that we weren't sure if they would stock Rolos again after a candy run. Ol' boy really looks out and tries to get to know you. He did me a solid and cashed back when the ATM froze up on me. The one thing I won't touch is their gaming machines. They look cool and all but I don't play the house when we're on good terms and I'm up a pack of smokes. Thanks for you courtesy and generosity.”
