  My sister and I were looking around for furneral homes for my dad when we came across F.L. Sims Funeral Home. My first impression was how clean and bright the place was and the owner was very kind and compassionate. Ms. Linda Thrasher was who my sister and I worked with. She was awesome and very professional. My dad looked Iiked he was sleeping. She walked me through the process and was very patient. Everyone was very professional and understanding. The graphic designer did an awesome job on the programs. They were also reasonably priced. If you are looking for professionalism, patience and compassion during your time a need, I would highly recommend F. L Sims Funeral Home.

  If I could give more than 5 stars I would. In that time of sorrow and/or need Sims came to the rescue; I worked with Linda and she was professional, caring and understanding. Sims worked with us to fulfilled my brother's wish (and this was during covid), to get his body to his final resting place in Barbados. No one/family is ever prepared for a death, it doesn't matter how much you think you are, more so if it involves international transport. If you are reading this, my condolences, please know that these are the right guys.

  There are truly no words for how beautifully FL Sims, particularly Ms. Linda Thrasher, treated my family during our time of bereavement.
  My aunt passed away Monday, May 3rd. I had no idea what to do for services and Ms. Linda walked me through it every step of the way. They make it a point to stay in communication with you and answer all of your questions. If there is any back and forth with life insurance companies and the like, FL Sims walks you through that too!
  Prices were reasonable and the quality was excellent. My aunt's service was the most well-done graveside service I have ever attended. All the details were tastefully handled, from the order of the pictures that played at the viewing down to the prayer cards with my aunt's obituary. And if you saw my aunt, it looked like she was sleeping. All we had to decide was decide our general idea for the service and FL Sims handled the rest. I cannot thank them enough--I know my aunt is happy.

  On February 26, 2021 my beloved husband George Bynoe was called home suddenly to be with the Lord. In my grief I didn’t know how to begin or how this process worked especially during a global pandemic. I was introduced to Sims Funeral Services by a friend who used their services months prior. We met with the services manager Linda Thrasher to discuss funeral arrangements. I knew this was a fit and where we needed to be after meeting with a few other funeral homes. Sims funeral services gave me the comfort, peace and trust with my beloved husband. They far exceeded our expectations. My husband deserved the best in Celebrating his life and legacy. We received just that and more. Every detail was implemented with integrity, professionalism and the spirit of excellence. I would highly recommend Sims Funeral Services, Smyrna. Thank you Linda Thrasher for going above and beyond our families expectations in leaving us with memories we will forever cherish for a life time.

  For my dad's sudden passing, my family and I had to quickly find a funeral home. I called quite a few funerals, but none made me feel as calm as Sims Funeral home. Fernando is the most caring and compassionate person that I have met in a long time, and his business reflects it.
  The price packages are extremely fair and the lowest that I found on a tight budget. However, Fernando and his team make you feel as if you have spent millions with them and treat you with the most respect especially during this most difficult time.
  My family and I are very much appreciative of everything that Fernando and his team have done for my dad's funeral, and we will be forever grateful.
