    Love this place. Wonderful after school program for ages 6 and up. There's always something positive happening here. Events for the community, outreach programs, workshops, national winning cheer competition team, track team, soccer, football and list goes on and on. Pretty much anything you can think off. Most importantly Mr. Gio and his staff are such a joy! Much love!!!

    They were very helpful in assisting me with paying my light bill. Don't get discouraged because they only accept phone calls on Wednesdays. You have to call early in the mornings on that day and keep calling. It helps if you have more people calling at the same time. Plus for those who need assistance with groceries, they do have a food pantry on certain days as well.

    This Salvation Army in Decatur has great service. When I call most of the time I get the boys and girls club side but they willingly help me get the service I need. What I know now that other people fail to realize is that when you call it goes to the boys and girls club side and sometimes we give them a hard time not realizing they are not the salvation army side which is what the lady explained to me. She gave me the financial assistance number and told me you have to keep calling because they be busy. If you didn't know a lot of people call the salvation Army at the same time because we are not the only ones needing help.
